The Helix project is a 10-year programme which will see the creation of a brand new eco park in Falkirk.

British Waterways Scotland are responsible for the management of the Forth and Clyde Canal on which the Kelpies sculptures will be sited. It was they who initiated Andy’s involvement in 2006.

Falkirk Council are the local authority who oversee and manage the Helix and the local area around the Kelpies.

Atkins are the structural engineers on the Kelpies project, and have worked as close partners with Andy on the development of the idea since it’s inception.

Gleeds are project managers and cost consultants on the Helix project, and their remit includes the Kelpies.

Jephson Robb has been appointed as artist of one of the Helix’s “Sentinels” public art project.
